What's my coin worth?
Pick the coin and type the date. You'll see whether it's silver, what the silver is worth today, and a rough collector value if it's a date people look for.
Your result shows here. Tip: try a 1964 quarter or a 1921 dime.
How this works
- Melt value is the value of the silver or gold in the coin at today's spot price. Dealers buying common coins usually pay a share of it.
- Collector value is a rough range from a public price guide for worn coins, from heavily worn (G-4) to moderately worn (F-12). Coins in better condition can be worth much more, and dealers usually pay less than guide prices.
- Values are estimates, not offers or appraisals. For rare dates, get the coin looked at by a coin dealer or appraiser before selling.
